My favorita Picture
My favorite photograph is a black and white image, its belong to Sergio Larraín, a Chilean photographer who was born the November 5th, 1931 in Santiago. This image is one of the many photographs that Sergio Larrain took of Valparaiso. In my opinion, he achieves to capture the spirit of the city. Larrain's style is totally recognizable in his images and, like other great photographers of the world, provide us with a “before and an after” in the history of the chilean photography.The image that I will show below, is a photography that was taken without hurry, and you can see in the image, the hours of meticulous observation and how the photographer make that all the elements find themselves and build the precise moment to obturate. This is why we see more than landscapes with characters who live in them. Larraín shows us a personal and intimate perspective of what surrounds us, the beauty of the usual. This photograph was taken in 1952 by the best Chilean photographer (at least for me).

An unexpected concert

I remember that in 2007 I was studying photography, it was a normal day I left the institue and I went to print some pictures for a job, I saw a poster in the street and I found out that there was a concert by Fito Paez at the theater Caupolican. As I was walking with my camera it occurred to me to go and try to enter by posing as a photojournalist. When I arrived, I took out my camera and went in with the journalists. Nobody realized that I did not have a credential. I enjoyed the concert so much that I became unaware of the time and when I realized it was very late, I ran out to take the locomotion and get to Estacion Central as fast as possible. When I arrived at the station, the last bus was already gone, so I got on the bus to take me as close as possible to Melipilla. What are you passionate about?

It's strange that I can not decide for just one thing that I'm passionate about, I could name at least five. In firstplace, I would say that my daughter is what I love and comforts me most in my life, talk to her and about her and when she's not at home, makes me feel empty. The second is my family. The moment when I return from any place and that the two most important people in my life are at home, is the best feeling in the world and in another way, have the place of my childhood that I can return whenever I want, give me tranquility and peace. The third thing is photography, it came to my life by accident and I think it will continue waiting until I can dare to take it up again. The fourth are the textile processes, which impress me more and more in terms of their complexity. Finally I could say that I am passionate about the idea of traveling and I think that I am getting closer in this passion.

English Language Challenges

The study of English has always been difficult for me. This is because at school I did not have this branch and I have never had much closeness to the language. In the university it has been complicated, mainly because of the schedule and also because I have not dedicated the time that I should,and I forget to study every day. Although blogs have been a good way to express myself in this language. I am sure that I must improve in many aspects, organize myself and dedicate some minutes of the day to review. Downloading an application would also allow me to review the basics, and learn what I do not know. I am very aware that learning English is very necessary, because as I have said before, my dream is to study abroad and for all applications to English Learners it is required to know English.
